Note to newfags: don't mess with Zmodem anything, you'll ban yourself because it'll disconnect you and not let you reconnect. Use /s to send posts, not /u.
Don't use super secure passwords that you use elsewhere. This is telnet: everything is cleartext.

Zapod: we need to make a newfag message that explains the inner workings of posting on the BBS and do something about file posting. It's acting rather stupid ATM.
Fixing some menu wording might help everyone get some posts rolling. Currently the BBS wording is a little confusing to chan posters. Try looking at some editing I did on the test BBS and message me what you think.

Is it possible to have a network protocol where things like DoS and other attacks wouldn't work or be heavily impeded?

No.41

I believe there are distributed networks where the number of places where a file is available increases with demand. DoS could burden the network, but it might not work on individual sites.
